Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

A recent gathering in Madrid united faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.

Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement.
